A mutual interest
TodayTix Group founders Brian Fenty and Merritt Baer met as kids at the French Woods Festival for the Performing Arts. They quickly bonded over their love of theatre and became lifelong friends. While they followed different professional paths — Merritt as a theatre producer and Brian as an investor, entrepreneur, and producer — the pair still connected over their passion for theatre and culture.
A shared problem
They also mutually came to discover the difficulties and inconveniences of the existing ticketing processes for the shows they worked on. There were unexpected fees, long ticketing queues, no functional mobile options, and an overall lack of transparency that left theatregoers frustrated.
An ambitious solution
The duo saw this as an opportunity to disrupt an industry resistant to change. They teamed up in 2013 to start TodayTix, a company that modernized the way theatregoers buy tickets through industry-leading technology, innovative product design, unparalleled inventory, and frictionless experiences. TodayTix is now the marquee brand of TodayTix Group, which is transforming the way audiences consume and enjoy culture, and includes influential brands such as Goldstar, Secret Cinema, and Show-Score.

TodayTix Group is headquartered in the heart of New York City’s Theatre District along with an office in London's West End. We also have teams across the United Kingdom and Australia, and we offer remote work opportunities.
